Mythic Paros , Adults Only

This was, without question, the most extraordinarily luxurious two nights I have ever experienced. Right from arrival - where you leave your bags and any semblence of stress at reception and are taken on a guided tour of the property - we knew this was going to be unlike anywhere we'd stayed before. Every turn revealed some new gorgeous amenity and mindblowing vista out across the Agean and Antiparos, and a gentle warm breeze seems to permanently blow through the whole property. This place feels as close to dream-like as you can get, and everything just oozes quality and relaxation - from the morning yoga class they run, to the all-inclusive breakfast where the team invite you to order literally everything on the menu, to the decked-out gym (I didn't even know Technogym made equipment with brown leather cushions). And that's not even getting to the pool area with its incredibly comfortable day-beds suspended over the water and a soundtrack so chill I had to Shazam nearly every song. Just when you think it can't get any better, the sun starts to set and you realise what you've been your entire life - the sunsets here are so overwhelming you forget to even take any pictures and just stare in wonder. And THEN a singer starts crooning beautiful live jazz and your brain just completely malfunctions and you melt into the magnificence of it all.

First and foremost,the staff provided exceptional service. Pool area was beautiful and breakfast each day was scrumptious. Location was good and views were stunning.

The setting is amazing. Absolutely gorgeous pool area with stunning views and a bit of a breeze when others parts of the island are hot and stuffy. The room was great with a really comfortable bed. Staff were super friendly and helpful, organising private transfers using their own fleet of vehicles, giving us useful info on beaches etc and making dinner reservations for us. Breakfasts were a joy. We also ate lunch at the pool bar twice and had dinner in the restaurant one evening. All of the food was excellent and service too. The vehicle hire / pick up and drop off directly at the hotel is also a great asset and we really enjoyed visiting the beaches, Lefkes and Antiparos in our little convertible Fiat 500. The yoga classes were another plus and offered pretty good value.

The property was wonderfully decorated and designed. I loved the materials used, the wood and stone, it was super good taste and it made our stay amazing.

From the moment we arrived at Mythic we felt special. Their check-in service was really nice, no waiting in reception at a desk, they met us out the front when we arrived via their transfer from the Port and took us straight to their restaurant and we received a welcome drink whilst finalising paperwork. It was absolutely stunning...the pool...the views...OMG! We loved every minute. We did have an issue with hot water, it took a long time to become hot (sometimes 30 mins and sometime wasn't hot at all), we had this issue each day (we stayed 4 nights) but they did offer us a different room but we didn't want to have to pack up and move after 2 days with only 2 nights left, so they gave us a complimentary dinner in their restaurant for this hiccup which was lovely. Food was great - the pool menu was nice (really great Chicken Club Sanga), Breakfast was ordered off menu & you could have as much as you liked, service was great, staff were lovely, gym was great, car hire was organised easily from reception, they had live music one night we were there which was great as well. Beautiful hammock area was lovely also. We loved our stay at Mythic and we would definitely stay again, we felt really special! Was it 5 star? I would say more like 4.5 star for room & service (we stayed at a 5 star hotel in Mykonos after Mythic and it was superb & out rated Mythic easily), but the views without a doubt make Mythic a 5 start Hotel. We highly recommend for a stay in Paros.
